N1097-Amethyst Spikes Necklace

This is a natural gemstone necklace made from agate and amethyst spikes and rondelle beads.  The spikes are rectangular beads averaging 1/4" wide and ranging from 3/4" to 1 1/2" in length.  The edges of the beads are gently rounded for a smooth, polished finish.  The semi-transparent stones cover the entire spectrum of the color wheel for purple.  The stones contain lots of veining.  The rondelle beads are used at the top of the necklace along the sides of the neck.  The colors are the same as the spikes.  Seed beads are used at the ends for easier handling working with the clasp.

Double length of beading wire was used to string the beads.
