I'm calling these beads yin / yang because portions of the beads have a smooth mirror surface. The other portion is rougher in appearance and touch. It reminds me of etched glass.

These beads are midnight blue. There are slight variations in the colors.

Their shapes are very hard to describe. One of the pictures is a close-up of the necklace that shows the different shapes.

- There are elongated ovals with cuts on three sides to provide the mirror surface. The rest of the surface is the etched texture.

- There are round beads (approximately 12 mm) similar to the ovals with three of their side cut for the mirrors. The rest of the surface is the etched texture.

- There are 6 mm rondelle shaped beads in the etched finished. (Rondells are basically a flatten round bead.)

- There are 4 mm and 10 mm (approximately) round beads with the entire surface the etched like texture.

- I left the hardest one to describe last. It is two pyramids placed together at their bases. One pyramid points up and the other one points down. Similar to the shape of a spinning top. Along the center of some of the beads is a same strip of the mirrored finish. The rest of the surface is the etched texture. Their size is approximately 8 mm.
